For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

Kincaid was an exceptional guide! He was very accommodating while we had concerns with the weather and he was very knowledgeable about Acadia National Park and Maine in general as this was our first trip there. He tailored my daughter’s climb based on her abilities and comfort level as well as what type of climbs she wanted to do. She comfortably completed 6 climbs at Otter Cliffs with some rest breaks in between and Kincaid was wonderful at going at her pace and helping her accomplish her goals. I highly recommend Atlantic Climbing School and definitely ask for Kincaid!

Mike was a great guide- taught us about the equipment and how to tie the appropriate knots. We were able to take the climbs as quick or slow as we felt comfortable with. Neither of us had any experience climbing before, and one of our group is terrified of heights, but it was a fun and unique experience for our Maine trip. Would do again.
