For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

My friends and I took a trip out to Maine this past weekend and spent our first morning climbing at Otter Cliffs. Mike was an awesome guide and we couldn't have asked for a better way to start the trip. Mike made us feel safe repelling for the first time, spent the time explaining how the equipment operated and answered all our climbing questions. Not only was Mike extremely knowledgeable, he was also really awesome to hang out with. Our only regret is not booking the whole day instead of a half day! We highly recommend booking a climbing experience with Atlantic and especially with Mike as your guide.
