For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

We went over to Otter Cliffs after a rainy day that cleared up and it was the right choice. Sam guided us that Otter would dry up the fastest out of everywhere else is in the park. It was the absolute right move!! We had an amazing time.

Sam also works as a Ski Instructor for kids during the winter. He was patient and encouraging, told great stories about the island and gave a great recommendation for food in Bar Harbor. We had a blast rock climbing for the first time.
