For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

Wow. Add to the awe-inspiring site of the Otter cliffs the thrill of climbing: I cannot think of a better way to experience coastal Maine. Even as an absolute beginner, in a couple of hours, I got out of my comfort zone, learn basics moves and skills and safety rules and can understand the passion of the climbers. I was intimidated but Mike was down to earth and fed the information as we got along, making sure I got it and I fell I could trust him with my life. And I mean it. Many times he said ok breathe and take it in. Exhilarating. I highly recommend this intro with Mike to just anyone, any age! I cannot think of any reason not to try it. Ok and there is the cool factor! Trish

Reed was a great guide and we had a ton of fun. We hadn’t climbed in quite awhile so this was a nice reintroduction. Otter cliffs were a beautiful scenic spot and the climbs were just hard enough! Reed was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing and also just a fun person to be around for 4 hours!
