For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

Before my trip my goal was to learn at least one new climbing skill, while also getting a decent amount of climbs in. I met with Aramy at the headquarters and he asked me what my experience and goals were. He listened very well, and when we got to Otter Cliffs he taught me about how to anchor cams into rock cracks. I also got a great review of rappeling and various knots/rope work. We got 5 climbs in and I learned a lot!

We had a great time! Kincaid did an amazing job providing a great experience for our group with mixed levels. I was a total beginner to climbing and Kincaid was very calm, reassuring and encouraging. We had a fun time and amazing views from the cliffs overlook the ocean.
