For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

We had a blast climbing with ACS. Kincaid was an awesome guide. He has a great knowledge of climbing techniques, and was able to demonstrate which ones would be appropriate for each of us. Next time we are in the area, we’ll definitely be signing up for another climb, and requesting Kincaid.

Absolutely amazing. Family loved it even our 7 year old! Climbing was so much fun. Mike and Mike(Rick) were both great, helpful, and patient when our littlest got scared and wouldn’t rappel down. Couldn’t have asked for a better family activity and guides.

My daughters (8 and 6 years old) and I had a blast with our guide Mike. He was very knowledgeable and that gave my kids the confidence they needed to do their climbs. “Pebble Beach” was a great spot. Thanks Mike and thanks Atlantic Climbing School!
