For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

Our family of 5 (kids ages 12, 14, 16) had an amazing experience climbing the cliffs near Thunder Hole. Two of our party have a fear of heights and our guide Kincaid was so patient and reassuring during the climb. They take all safety measures very seriously which was very important to help us feel safe at all times. The views were spectacular and waves were crashing on the rocks just below us. It was an experience we will never forget!
