For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

Mike was a great guide, and we had a great experience. We rappelled down the ~60' high Otter Cliffs and climbed back up. The views and the site are amazing - the bottoms of the cliffs are just above the crashing ocean waves. There are different spots that offer different levels of challenge, and the guides will help match the level of the climber. We felt very safe at all times. Definitely recommend.

We had such an amazing time! Sam and Calvin were so knowledgeable and patient, giving us great tips and guiding us through the rock climbing experience (it was the first time for many of us too!). Our climbing spot had great views and they customized the experience to our group to help us ease in and feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

Amazing trip and a amazing guide. I originally emailed back early this year about multipitch. I was told in a reply email to just sign up for the climbing experience and we’d talk to our guide that morning about what we would do. Well we arrived this morning and we’re told our Guide couldn’t do multipitch. After what I thought was a wasted day out Guide turned it into a great day of single pitch climbing with my partner and I.
