For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

It was AMAZING!! Kincaid was the most calm, supportive guide ever. 11/10 experience for someone that is not an experienced climber and a bit afraid of heights (but still wants to push their limits)

I took my three kids (7, 10, and 12) rock climbing on our recent trip to Acadia. We are all novice climbers and our guides, Annie and Sam were EXCELLENT. We had so much fun, we booked a second trip the next afternoon! Unfortunately my husband had to miss out on our climbs this trip, and as a mom "single-parenting" three busy kids literally on top of a cliff, I truly cannot say enough about how safe I felt we were at all times. Annie and Sam were calm, kind, funny, and on point the whole time. Everyone had fun, including ME! The climbs they took us to were so beautiful, and challenging-but-accessible for all four us, with different abilities levels and feelings about heights:). One of my kids really had to work through some fear, and Annie and Sam were so wonderful with her. By the end of the second day, she repelled off a cliff over the ocean! She was so dang proud of herself, and their coaching helped get her there. I'm sure all of the guides are excellent, but we will be requesting Annie and Sam the next time we are in town! And parents, if you have a group larger then 4 and if it's in your budget, I highly recommend paying for a 2nd guide. You get to experience twice the number of climbs.
