For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

I didn’t know what to expect for my first outdoor climbing experience, but it was great! Adam explained everything really well, made me feel super comfortable climbing, and was really helpful in the tricky spots. Climbing on the cliffs over the ocean was such a cool experience. I should’ve booked a full day!

Our climbing adventure with Mike was excellent. I had a great time learning new styles of climbing and Mike was so patient with my partner over coming a fear of heights. We will be back and climb with the Atlantic Climbing School again!

A fun and rewarding experience. Our guides, Sam and Adam, were extremely patient and provided great instructions. They provided encouragement and lots of fun stories too. We are novices at rock climbing to say the least, but we left feeling like we conquered the climb thanks to our great guides. Definitely a highlight of our vacation and something we'll try again the next time we're in the area.
