For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

Mike was excellent! He took time to explain every anchor he built- I loved that he was such an anchor nerd! He put me on as many routes as he could in the time we had and gave the perfect balance of beta and letting me figure it out on my own. I’d absolutely recommend him to anyone who wants to climb in Acadia!

Newbie climber with almost no previous experience. Super fun time. Our guide Tom was great at talking through all the details and always gave helpful tips when I got stuck which got me up the wall to some amazing Acadia views. Felt safe the whole time. Highly recommend!
