For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

Had an absolute blast learning the ropes! He was patient and gentle with a variety of dad jokes to boot. Coming from someone who has practically no experience with rock climbing, I felt comfortable enough to try out some techniques that I would have not otherwise known to use or try! Definitely an experience to grasp onto and look into doing some more locally in the NC mountains.

Kincaid was a great guide and made sure I had fun and stayed safe in less than ideal weather conditions! He also taught me a ton about setting anchors and climbing safety generally; I'm not ready to go on my own but am a much more confident climber because of it. I had a fantastic trip and will be seeing Atlantic Climbing School next time I'm in Acadia.

If you are hesitant to do this do it anyways! Was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Mike was a great tour guide. Patient and yet encouraging with my nerves dropping back off the side of the cliffs...loved that he explained everything. Was my first climb but hopefully not the last. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time with Tom! He was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable on the climbs. Highly recommend to anyone (especially beginners like us!). The views from otter cliffs were unbelievable and climbs were perfect.
