For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

Wonderful time climbing in Acadia--my first outing in over 3 decades! Sam was a great coach with an emphasis on safety. He cheerfully spent time teaching me some knots and gear. We had a great time chatting about the history of the park, too.

We had an amazing half day climbing with Mike. The 5 year old and 9 year olds in our group were challenged and got to get a lot of climbing in while feeling safe on the rocks right along the water. The kids (and adults!) said it was the highlight of our trip to Acadia.
