Hunter Banks Fly Fishing first opened our doors in February 1985. Our mission has remained true for 40 years: foster the fly fishing community in Asheville and the surrounding mountains of Western North Carolina. Jimmy and Caleb were awesome and Ivy Bend did not disappoint! Our guides - Jimmy and Caleb - were fun, friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. Jimmy adn Caleb had rods and reels riged and ready t go as soon as we made it to Ivy Bend. Ivy Bend itself is beautiful spot and well kept. We were on fish as soon as we got in the water and they kept us in good spots to catch fish all day and build some additional skills too. We will be coming back!

Highly recommend Hunter banks to take you fishing , they made this probably one of my favorite fishing trips ever. Forest was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable I learned so much from him. We slayed the fish. Couldn’t recommend a better place to book with. I will be booking another trip very soon.
