3 hr wade trip with students - it was a tough day to fish, but the guides did their best to make sure we learned something and had the best opportunity for a catch. Jimmy was great to work with as we planned the trip and Caleb and Jake were patient with the student and relayed their love of their hobby to them. I will definitely keep this in mind for future experiences for students.

Scheduled this trip to just get some memories for me and my dad. He grew up fishing with his dad and does some spinner and caster fishing in his own. Been more then a decade since he did any trout fishing so thought a private guide would be good to get him back on some water and a fish in the net. We’ve been coming around the HB store recently so it made sense to use them for a trip like this. Caleb was great, got my dad setup and got plenty of fish landed for him! I was able to try some streamer fishing and land some good size fish as well. Great day out on Ivy Bend, we’re excited to see how that area grows and hear more about the efforts conserving that section of water.

Caleb is awesome! The experience we requested was not only inconvenient for the hiking involved, but also outside of the optimal season. Not only did Caleb guide us to exactly what we were asking for when others wouldn’t, but also he set us up for success with the flies the fish wanted. Delivering the uniquely special experience we hoped for.

Jimmy and Caleb were awesome and Ivy Bend did not disappoint! Our guides - Jimmy and Caleb - were fun, friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. Jimmy adn Caleb had rods and reels riged and ready t go as soon as we made it to Ivy Bend. Ivy Bend itself is beautiful spot and well kept. We were on fish as soon as we got in the water and they kept us in good spots to catch fish all day and build some additional skills too. We will be coming back!

Fantastic trip. James and Caleb were great. My thanks to Caleb for his patience and help. I have mobility issues and he too the extra effort ensure my success. First cast got my first fish! It got better from there.
