About Us
For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

We had a spectacular time with Daniel our guide and the climbs he took us on! The scenery of course was beyond measure! Perhaps more importantly on an activity such as this is the competence, capability and caution that our guide exhibited every moment of the day. Being careful of every aspect of our climb and gear, what his safety protocol was, and transferring as much of that knowledge to us as he could possibly share to make sure we knew the safety protocols were well in hand. Excellent!
