For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

We had a wonderful time. Climbing at Otter Cliffs in Acadia was an amazing experience! Our guide, Murphy, worked with the different skill levels in our group and was careful and safety conscious. He has an engaging personality and made us feel comfortable.

We had a great trip with Murphy and Sam. They were great instructors and were very conscious of maintaining a safe environment with children in our group. We rappelled and climbed in one of the most beautiful locations I have ever seen. We were the only climbers there as it is not well known to everyone in the area. Highly recommend this experience!

We booked two 1/2 day family climbs. The first day Sam our guide assessed everyones abilities and picked routes to challenge everyone. Sam taught a quick ground school basics to go over all the equipment and safety. The routes were great and ranged from a chimney to over hangs to crack work. And no place better on the east coast to climb over the ocean than Acadia. Sam was great, Atlantic Climbing School was great and all around great trip!!!
