For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

I’m a newbie climber and this experience was definitely one of the highlights of my time in Acadia. Haley was awesome. I felt so at ease the whole time. She was encouraging and very knowledgeable about climbing. It was also a really nice option having a woman instructor. Took a shuttle to and from there with no problems. 10/10 experience!

Sam was absolutely fantastic and created such a memorable day for us! He asked our goals with climbing and incorporated them into the half day of climbing we booked. Did a half day climb on Otter Cliffs. I have climbed indoors, but this was my first outdoor climb. It was fantastic! Sam was an enthusiastic and excellent guide that made sure I had the experience I wanted, trying various routes. I was recommended Atlantic Climbing School by friends and was so happy I went with this company. Highly recommend!

I had a great time climbing with Ryan! He was professional and really fun to hang with, and I felt completely safe and encouraged with him. He picked great routes for my skill level and even picked routes with the types of moves that I like to do. He went above and beyond to make sure I was having fun and feeling the right level of challenge. He just had a great vibe overall, and I will definitely ask for him next time I come to climb!
