As a year-round guide service, we offer our clients jaw-dropping climbing and trekking opportunities in the summer while our guided skiing, ice climbing, and avalanche education keep our guests busy in the winter. This course gave me the basics needed to understand how to Prepare, Plan, Ride Safely, and Debrief after a day out in the backcountry. I have a new appreciation of the risks (and rewards) of a well planned out trip. For sure I will need to practice what I have learned and continue my avalanche learning curriculum.
