Welcome to San Juan Expeditions the guide service of Silverton and Durango Colorado. As a year-round guide service, we offer our clients jaw-dropping climbing and trekking opportunities in the summer while our guided skiing, ice climbing, and avalanche education keep our guests busy in the winter. As the only year-round guide service headquartered in Silverton, we are uniquely qualified to share our world-class backyard with you, your friends, and your family. I had an incredible time with Kam and Jordan. Both if them were generous on tips, advice, stories and general technical knowledge. They allowed me to clearly establish my goals ahead of our ski mountaineering trip and enabled me to achieve them. Highlight was skiing Turkey Chute, a classic local San Juan line. Would 100% hire this outfit again!

So so good! This is my second time out with Kristin and Sheldon and honestly they’re just such good guides, and exceptionally caring and empathetic people. They took the time to demonstrate good techniques both for travel and to make the day easier and more enjoyable. They also answered any question in depth and with intention.
