Welcome to San Juan Expeditions the guide service of Silverton and Durango Colorado. As a year-round guide service, we offer our clients jaw-dropping climbing and trekking opportunities in the summer while our guided skiing, ice climbing, and avalanche education keep our guests busy in the winter. As the only year-round guide service headquartered in Silverton, we are uniquely qualified to share our world-class backyard with you, your friends, and your family. We went out to East Animas for a day climbing with Jeremy. It was fantastic. The whole process was super easy and the climbing was great. Jeremy was an excellent guide and great company. He picked out some fantastic routes and views from the crag weee spectacular. Jeremy made sure we felt safe and challenged in equal measure. First class experience and we cant recommend it enough! Did a half day rock climbing trip near the X rock with the family. It was the first time climbing outdoors and on an actual cliff face. Kam was an amazing guide - did a great job teaching us and picking out appropriate routes to climb for our skill level. Would definitely use them again!

I had an incredible time with Kam and Jordan. Both if them were generous on tips, advice, stories and general technical knowledge. They allowed me to clearly establish my goals ahead of our ski mountaineering trip and enabled me to achieve them. Highlight was skiing Turkey Chute, a classic local San Juan line. Would 100% hire this outfit again!
