Mooney Mountain Guides LLC goal is to help more people fall in love with climbing and the mountains, by providing the highest quality guided experience to our guests on guided climbs, lessons, and courses. MMG guides to not only guide the climb, but also create a personalized experience for each guest, each day based on guest goals. MMG is Lead by IFMGA Licensed Mountain Guide, Alex Teixeira. The highest level of guide training in the world. MMG guides have the distinct benefit of learning and mentorship from one of the most qualified guides in the country. This translates to the highest quality instruction, risk management, and options to grow as a climber world wide.

Laurie was exceptional. I’ve done a little bit of indoor, outdoor and ice climbing. Laurie provided a route which allowed me to have a fun first to reorient myself and then had more challenging routes. She also created a route for those of us who wanted to repel. There were lots of options and she took the time to go through everything the newbies would need to know and was kind and calm when talking them through spots that were hard for them. All the while explaining the safety procedures and safety backup procedures to alleviate any possible concerns they may have had. She’s fantastic with a tight belay. You feel secure and safe with her watching your climb. Knowing she’ll be there if you falter. I also appreciated her suggestions for us to improve during our climbs. It allowed us to make the routes more a bit more challenging so we could continue to progress. She loves her job and it clearly shows. I had an amazing day specifically because Laurie had a well thought out plan for everyone. Thank you Laurie! Hope to climb with you again. Best, Kristen

Alex was a fantastic guide. He did a great job picking out routes that were both within our skillset and pushed our skillset. He was also willing to share knowlege of the climbing in the area as well as the other outdoors activities. Amazing day. Alex is a super competent guide who knows the NH area very well. We had a great outing on Cannon Cliff's Moby Grape. Not only was Alex helpful with tips and beta on the route, he did a great job managing the day to make sure we were able to complete the climb. Highly recommend and looking forward to climbing with him again!
