I had a very positive experience with Basecamp Ouray. The booking was super easy and Logan was a great communicator. My guide Spencer was awesome. Super nice guy who really knew his stuff. He shared lots of tidbits about Ouray, the Ice Park and surrounding areas. He was also an expert in his field. It was my first time ice climbing and after a short amount of time, he had a pretty good idea on what I could and couldn't do, and knew where to push me when I needed it while staying very encouraging and always giving tips. He made the experience super fun. I would recommend Basecamp Ouray to anyone interested in booking an adventure in the area.

It was great trip and Basecamp Ouray did a great job in training and guiding us. Spencer, our guide, was incredible, patient and encouraging. We had one in our group who was far better than the other two of us and he took him to a wonderful spot at the end of our first day so that us old folks were not holding him back. I cannot recommend the experience enough.

Amazing experience! My husband and I were guided by Logan and Brandon We began around 9am (they called us the night before to confirm and make sure we again knew what to bring) The day was beautiful and Logan is native to Ouray so he was very knowledgeable about the cliffs and the best places to climb. It was my first time climbing while my husband had a little experience. Both Logan and Brandon were so great, making sure we were comfortable, explaining in understandable terms the best way to climb and techniques and probably most important (after safety ) is they were patient and you can tell they both LOVE what they do and want to share and teach so others can enjoy! We will definitely do this again and if we are out in the Spring/Summer will check out what they have to offer! Thank you both!!
