WOWZA!! Today was one of the most incredible days with one of the most incredible guides!! We paid for a full day private ice climbing tour and got Nico as our guide! He went ABOVE AND BEYOND!! Explained everything to us, showed us technique, and was just overall very amazing to work with!! Logan made sure to shuttle us to and from the mountain and again, the day was just WOW! Definitely highly recommend getting a tour guide for a new sport… (or even if you are familiar… and need some ‘pointers/skills’… They provided all the gear for us and it fit and worked perfectly! ) Thank you Basecamp Ouray!! If we come by this area again, we will DEFINITELY be hitting you guys up!!

Spence and Brandon guided my wife and on a full-day trip this past weekend and we had a blast! They were fun, passionate about ice climbing, made sure we were comfortable and gave thorough instructions and feedback. We are already planning on going back and will use Basecamp Ouray again. They provided excellent gear and it was a top-notch experience from top to bottom.
