Amazing time and views! Owen is an awesome tour guide!

It was the thrill of a lifetime. This was our first time doing a via Ferrata on May 13. The weather was perfect, the river was really flowing and there was still ice in the canyon, but not on the course. Jason was our excellent and informative guide. The course is safe but extremely challenging. We are just older hikers with no rock climbing background. Jason coached us through the various technicals and made it fun. He also took many action videos and photos which he gave to us. Well done Jason! Great shots!! We are totally recommending this to our friends and family. 5 stars to Jason and to the course.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Jason as our guide. He was friendly, down-to-earth, and attentive to every aspect of our safety including the equipment and the best places to put our hands and feet. He took great photos and videos of us and gave them to us at the end of the trip via iPhone AirDrop.

This was a pretty incredible trip! Owen was great - a local that was able to give a bit more color to the tour as a guide and kept they energy fun and enjoyable for a group with different comfort levels. The sky bridge is all that it's cracked up to be. Definitely a must do while in Ouray.

We had an awesome day with a spectacular guide, Owen. We had previously done the Ouray and Telluride via ferratas, but this was a giant step up as far as experiences go. There is a lot of vertical climbing with naturally placed rungs to make it easier. The highlight was definitely the 230-ft bridge, but walking through the remains of the mine was also fun. Owen made sure we had a safe, exciting day and took over 100 pictures to show our friends and family just how epic the adventure was.

We had such an amazing time doing the Gold mountain via Ferrata! Our guide, Owen, was excellent. He was super encouraging and made sure we were comfortable and safe the entire time. He also took lots of great pictures! The views were beautiful and the overall experience was such a thrill! I can’t wait to go back and do it again next year.

My son has an appetite for adventure that is hard to satisfy. We came to Ouray with 2 goals; to create memories and feed the adventure beast. Basecamp’s Ferrata did just that. This is a memory my son and I will remember for life. Their staff kindly guided us up the terrain even Mom with no climbing experience. Cheers to Ouray’s Basecamp.
