Welcome to San Juan Expeditions the guide service of Silverton and Durango Colorado. As a year-round guide service, we offer our clients jaw-dropping climbing and trekking opportunities in the summer while our guided skiing, ice climbing, and avalanche education keep our guests busy in the winter. As the only year-round guide service headquartered in Silverton, we are uniquely qualified to share our world-class backyard with you, your friends, and your family. The Ski Mountaineering Camp exceeded not only my expectations, but also the entire team of 6 six. We were instructed by two expert guides, Will and Chris who were extremely knowledgable and patient while they offered incredible instruction throughout the course. The camp was challenging which elevated the rating and the overall experience while we navigated and skied obscure terrain in the San Juan mountain range. I am a repeat client of San Juan Expeditions and highly recommend them!

I would highly recommend booking with San Juan Expeditions. The crew and I highly enjoyed our experience with Jack, Adam and Sarah. They kept the energy high, were inclusive to everyone while ensuring our safety was top priority. They went above and beyond to scout out deep pockets of powder before our arrival, making sure we skied the best in the San Juans, given the current conditions.
