Welcome to San Juan Expeditions the guide service of Silverton and Durango Colorado. As a year-round guide service, we offer our clients jaw-dropping climbing and trekking opportunities in the summer while our guided skiing, ice climbing, and avalanche education keep our guests busy in the winter. As the only year-round guide service headquartered in Silverton, we are uniquely qualified to share our world-class backyard with you, your friends, and your family. I am a beginner rock climber, and Marc is an expert rock climber. Doers are not not necessarily great teachers. Marc is an excellent teacher and provides useful feedback, and inspires one to work to be a better climber. I have climbed with Marc prior and will continue to reach out to him to improve as a climber and person.

Had a great experience with Kam in Black Canyon of the Gunnison. I was looking to get in a long trad climb while I was in the area; something that would push me a little bit, particularly on climb length. Kam steered us toward just the right climb for the day and was both great company and a super solid climber. I would happily go out with him again and recommend others do so as well!
