For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

Sam was wonderful with our kids! Our 6 year old was nervous but really wanted to climb. Sam did a great job navigating that with encouragement but not pressure. Would recommend as a great family activity regardless of climbing experience!

We were a group of three who had previous climbing experience. Our guide did a great job at choosing climbs that were tons of fun for everyone. He even set up spectator ropes for the rest of us to safely watch whoever was climbing at the time.
