For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

I had zero rock climbing experience and was of course very nervous. Daniel was great at making me feel safe and explaining the systems. Daniel coached me and pushed me to do things I never thought I could do! It was a life-changing experience and I would highly recommend it! Top notch school and Instructor.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, it was such an awesome trip! Many people in our group were hesitant about this experience and needed a lot of convincing to sign up, but we all agreed at the end that it was so much fun and were so glad that they did it. Most of us had very little to no climbing experience, and we felt like we were in great hands. I was so surprised we were belaying each other, but all felt safe the entire time. Daniel and Sam did a fantastic job. We'll definitely be back!
