Outstanding trip and guide! Absolutely outstanding trip with Reed. We were so grateful for his steady guidance, great directions and positive attitude. We were climbing really early season with younger kids, and Reed was patient and encouraging for both of them. I appreciated that he did an extra belay for safety throughout for the kids. My husband and I were able to really enjoy the climb and the views. We all had a ton of fun, and when the going got tougher with wind at the top, Reed was a rockstar with the kids. I’d recommend this trip to anyone who wants to push their limits and do something really unique and spectacular in Estes Park! Thanks, Reed and KMAC!

Terrific, comprehensive educational and experiential day with KMAC guide Braxton Pauls, thorough Intro to Mountaineering educational component, including Gear, Footwear, Crampons, Packs, Axes, Ropes, Harnesses, Personal Kit, General Climbing Rack, Fueling, Weather and Mapping, and Avalanches, plus practical hands on components, including best, safest and essential practices relating to anchoring, belay climbing, ropes and knots, snow and ice climbing, self-arrest, snow anchors, etc. Super helpful written materials included, so much information covered in 8 hours.
