I would highly recommend Braxton to anyone interested in learning to climb or challenging themselves to achieve a goal on a mountain. We climbed Longs peak with Braxton and couldn’t have had a better experience. He is knowledgeable, friendly, talented and above all, safety minded. He encouraged us to push ourselves within our limits, while listening to our concerns. Would highly recommend him to anyone interested in a climbing adventure

Terrific, comprehensive educational and experiential day with KMAC guide Braxton Pauls, thorough Intro to Mountaineering educational component, including Gear, Footwear, Crampons, Packs, Axes, Ropes, Harnesses, Personal Kit, General Climbing Rack, Fueling, Weather and Mapping, and Avalanches, plus practical hands on components, including best, safest and essential practices relating to anchoring, belay climbing, ropes and knots, snow and ice climbing, self-arrest, snow anchors, etc. Super helpful written materials included, so much information covered in 8 hours.
