Had an AWESOME time climbing w/ Alex in the Dells. He was super accommodating of the trip I wanted to have and was an excellent climbing partner. The area was the exact challenge and adventure I was looking for.

Trip: RED ROCK RETREAT | HIGH CAMP LEVEL
Guide: Scott M.
Well worth the money. #1 it's nice to have people who just know where to go to climb, how to get there, and how to get back . #2 I came with my girlfriend with goals of learning how to safely climb out side together, gym-crag kind of deal. (Neither of us had even lead in the gym) #3 with Scott's (our guide) personalized instruction and route selection we successfully learned how to build anchors, lead climb, lead belay, and clean a route with a little bit of an exposé on trad gear and placement. Seriously so worth the money. Plus the guides are super professional, kind, and encouraging in all the right ways! Memories for the rest of my life were made and I couldn't be more thankful for Scott and Brad being our guides. So freaking awesome!

Trip: RED ROCK RETREAT | HIGH CAMP LEVEL
Guide: Scott M.
Incredible trip overall. I would HIGHLY recommend Granite Mountain Guides. Both Brad and Scott were incredible guides, both were incredibly knowledgeable and easy to approach with questions. Not only was their guiding amazing, the time at camp was also incredible. Breakfasts and dinners were great. Fires were filled with fun stories. I can’t say enough good things about this retreat. 20/10 would absolutely recommend.

Trip: McDowell's | Introduction to Traditional Climbing
Guide: Brad B., Mac M.
It was filled with awesome content that we were all happy to receive. The 5 students all have experience with technical rope rescue, this class was such an eye opening experience. Filled with content that on the recreation side of rope use. We learned a lot and can't wait to get out to the crag to put it to use.

Trip: McDowell's | Introduction to Traditional Climbing
Guide: Brad B., Mac M.
Mac, Brad and Hannah more than met our expectations for this intro to trad climbing class. They started with a little overview of what would be covered, followed by asking each of us about our level of experience and what our expectations were for the class. The instruction was low key, well paced and methodical. They also continued to check if we had any questions or specific goals and provided thoughtful answers. We are already planning on taking another class from them in the near future.
