Hannah Wolfe
About me
Hannah was born and raised in southeastern Michigan. As a kid, she spent her summers in Vail, Colorado with her family, at a local overnight summer camp, and/or RVing. It was through these experiences that she developed her passion for the outdoors.
Hannah decided to attend Kalamazoo College where she played soccer and lacrosse. She majored in Biology and Minored in Psychology. This past year, Hannah joined the coaching staff at Kalamazoo College as an assistant coach for women’s lacrosse. She also worked in the Outdoor Programs department at Kalamazoo College. In this role, she led an outdoor freshman orientation and a sea kayaking trip. Lastly, she taught a backpacking class for the college.
Hannah got into rock climbing when she went on a college organized trip to Joshua Tree National Park. This was her first ever rock-climbing experience and she absolutely LOVED it! Ever since that trip, she has been rock climbing at her local climbing gym while also learning new skills/techniques from the director of Outdoor Program.
This past summer, Hannah worked for Devil’s Lake Climbing Guides as an Apprentice instructor. She assisted in leading guided rock climbing trips for clients and also was an instructor for a Teen Climbing Camp. Outside of climbing, Hannah enjoys working out, baking, hanging out with her family and spending time outside.
Hannah is a Wilderness EMT, Leave No Trace Master educator, and has completed the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) Single-Pitch Instructor Course.

Hannah and Leah far exceeded expectations: the hiking and climbing were appropriately challenging in an exceptionally beautiful and accessible location. They set up the courses in advance and were happy to belay us all day as well as explain the history and science of the sport with incredible patience. The amazing women in this trip were kind, welcoming, and empowered and encouraged me to accomplish more than I ever imagined I could have. Can’t wait for the next trip! AJ

Leah and Hannah were great! On day one they everything set up before we got there so we were able to start climb right away after our briefing. They provided a safe environment to ask questions and to work on different areas for improvement. On day two, we were able to explore different types of boulders and had a great day. Overall, amazing weekend, can’t wait for the next one.

Zach is always amazing as an instructor at our camp (Stein) when he leads the low ropes course. Kids love him! He is great with kids of all ages and teaches them alot about independence and team building. He is really fun to watch withe the kids too!
