About Us
For over two decades Atlantic Climbing School has been Maine’s premier climbing guide service, specializing in small, custom rock and ice climbing courses in Acadia National Park, Camden, Maine, and beyond. ACS is one of just 30 programs in the U.S. accredited by the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA). ALL of our staff are certified by the AMGA as either Rock Guides, Rock Instructors, or Single Pitch Instructors, and we are proud to be the ONLY guide service in Maine to have this distinction

We climbed the South Wall near Precipice Trail with Mike and he was awesome! He began with teaching our group some techniques on an easier climb before challenging us to test our new skills on a longer climb. He kept us entertained the entire time and taught us everything he has to do to remain safe on climbs. Only regret is not doing a longer session!
