My father hired guides for this hike to ensure our safety, but unfortunately, we felt rushed throughout the ascent. Departing at 5 AM and summiting by 9 AM, we experienced a pace that felt overly hurried. One of our party members was even reprimanded for brief pauses. While I understand the desire to avoid traffic in the gullies and potential weather issues, the rapid pace seemed unnecessary, especially considering the quick summit time. I hope future guided trips will take into account the preferences of participants to create a more enjoyable and less stressful experience.
