Trip: North Rim of the Grand Canyon

Guide: Chris K., Spencer O.

Amazing trip, the trails were great along with the views along the way. Every meal the guides prepared was fantastic, and we could not have asked for a better trip.

Trip: Backcountry Hot Springs

Guide: Katie C., Cullen O.

Katie and Cullen were excellent guides, they had great attitudes and energy and made delicious food for every meal. They kept a good schedule and always got us to camp on time and gave us enough time to hit all of the hot springs in the evenings and mornings. Cullen went the extra mile and made foamed lattes for some people and he had to get very creative to achieve it! He brought fun cheery energy and was very organized. Katie had a happy presence and was very personable and fun.

Trip: Backcountry Hot Springs

Guide: Katie C., Cullen O.

Katie and Cullen were a real pleasure to have as guides. They were always cheerful and responsive, made amazing food and coffee, and were very supportive during the rides. We would love to have either one of them again as guides. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The rides and climbs were fun and challenging for us. Two comments: 1. We were on gravel bikes with no shocks. Some of the riding was very bumpy and we got bounced around a lot. It also necessitates watching the road more and the scenery less, even on the easy stretches along the rivers. We had to walk some on the day 3 descent. Our suggestion is that you either require bikes with shocks or inform people who have bikes with no shocks what they are in for. I did send an email explicitly stating that we had bikes with no shocks, and your response did not lead us to think we should find alternative bikes, just fatter tires. 2. There was a lot of food waste, more than seemed necessary even when you consider not wanting to run out.

Trip: Maah Daah Hey

Guide: Will C., Trey T.

Both Trey and Will are very professional in all aspects of guiding this trip. Over the course of five days they were confronted with a number of challenges that they addressed quickly and efficiently. I enjoyed their company and commentary on a wide range of subjects.
