Trip: Telluride to Moab Gravel

This was my second trip with Western Spirit and it was one of my top 10 favorite vacations ever. The trip was physically challenging with long bumpy miles with some big climbs and warm/windy weather. The geography along the route was unforgettably stunning. Kudos to the Western Spirit team for the route planning, delicious and well-presented food, general support, and sharing their knowledge of the backcountry and geology of the areas we visited. In addition to our two guides, our group included a few guides-in-training; all of the Western Spirit team exuded positivity and a love of the outdoors. I rode a gravel bike and really appreciated the long, technical descents and the physically challenging climbs. I have a lot of mountain biking experience so the descents were fun on a gravel bike. My only recommendation is to offer a little more detail on road descents to help future guests select the best bike for the ride. I think that gravel bikers with more road (and less MTB) experience might be uncomfortable on the descents with a gravel bike. I will definitely plan another Western Spirit trip, it is so rare to have an outdoor adventure AND feel pampered at the same time. Thank you:)

This was the most fun I have ever had on a trip. Everyday was an adventure and the memories I made will last a lifetime. I will definitely be repeat customer. I also want to highlight how awesome Claire and Garrett were. They were knowledgeable, attentive, hard working and this trip would have never have been as special as it was if they weren’t there. Major mention on the food as well. This was fine dining level food we were being served everyday 100% recommend.

Trip: Bryce to Zion

LOVED LOVED LOVED this trip!!! We had an amazing 5 days cycling through Utah. The views were stunning, and we got to bike, hike and swim in the most beautiful settings. I'm not a cyclist and was a bit nervous going in, but I felt super comfortable with the support van never far away. This trip was the perfect mix of challenging and relaxing, and we are already planning the next one! Our guides (Claire & Garrett) were 12/10 incredible!! Every meal they made for us was thoughtful and delicious! They even baked us a pineapple upside down cake and peach cobbler!! In the middle of the woods!! We were blown away by the level of effort and thoughtfulness they put into this trip, they made it so special. They provided us with with pretty much everything we needed, including tons of snacks, sunscreen, aloe vera, face wipes, and tailwind! These little touches go a long way and put me at ease knowing that I wasn't forgetting any of the important stuff. Can't wait for next year! Thanks "Big G" & "Killer Claire"!!

The North Rim ride was spectacular! The views of Grand Canyon were incredible. We all had a great time each day, riding some challenging climbs and fun descents! The gourmet food was delicious and well received after a hard day of riding! Loved the whole experience!

This was my first Western Spirit trip and it won’t be my last. Our guides Avery and Frank were great. The food was excellent and the support was fantastic. The area was really unique and there were not a lot of other people around, making the Biko g really special.
