Mojave Guides is an AMGA accredited guide service in Joshua Tree, California. This accreditation ensures that we are upholding the highest of industry standards, including rigorous and uniform guide training, compliance with state and federal law, and that we promote ethical business practices. Our guides are contributing members of both the climbing community and our local community in Joshua Tree. We look forward to introducing you to our favorite place!

Brought my 9 year old boy for his real (non-gym) climbing day with Murph today and it was awesome. I can't say enough positive things about our experience. Murph brought us to the perfect spot with heaps of climbs -ranging from solid warmp ups to real challenges. He is incredibly supportive, personable and knowledgable. Big shout out to him and Mojave Guides for creating a day my kid will remember for a long time to come.

Murf is an amazing guide: so personable, kind, knowledgeable, and he had a great sense of humor. He was able to encourage our kids through some difficult climbing and we had the best morning climbing with him.

We loved our half-day climbing lesson with Luis. He gave great instruction, picked an awesome place to climb, set up multiple routes for us (I was with my daughters, ages 11 and 12). We will definitely be back the next time we are visiting Joshua Tree!

Our family had a great experience climbing with Mason. He gave good advice on technique for kids (and adults) and was very patient with everyone’s varied ability and speed. It was easy to get to our climbing spot and Mason gave us a variety of lines to try - from a warm ups to challenges. Definitely recommend Mojave Guides.
