Do you have basic climbing skills like belaying, safety checks, movement, and communication? Are you interested in learning how to climb in Joshua Tree on your own? This Top-Rope Setup Clinic may be the next step in your climbing education! This is a private program, just you and our AMGA Certified guide/s, designed to teach you how to set top-rope anchors safely and efficiently. We will test your skills by having you construct your own anchors and then climb the routes you set up. This single day program will have you prepared for many situations, but not all. We will go through the guidebook with you at the end of the day to identify appropriate routes. If you want to learn more consider the two-day program to really round out your skills.
