This was an epic adventure. We got to summit and ski a 19,000 ft Volcano . This wouldn’t have been possible without the expert guiding of Connor and some good weather. We also toured the country of Ecuador . I really enjoyed Rio Bamba and Banos. This is a great objective for someone looking to try higher peaks and get some great ski mountaineering experience. I also would like to give a shout out to our Ecuadorian Guide - Christian. He was knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around. I highly recommend this trip.

We reached out to Valhalla Mountain Guides with the goal of continuing to develop our alpine climbing skills. We had two days in the East Sierras to play with. Once again, Valhalla Mountain guides organized a perfect mission up the North Arete of the Bear Creek Spire. We spent the first morning reviewing skills. Then we hiked over to the base of the climb in the evening to setup for an alpine start up the Spire the next day. We camped at the foot of the climb in a perfect spot overlooking a serene alpine lake. It was a spectacular adventure all around. Connor really took the time to understand our goals and help us achieve them. All in all the trip exceeded our highest expectations. We can’t wait to join Valhalla for another adventure soon!
