It was great, Connor is a fully certified/pinned IFMGA guide with a huge wealth of experiences and knowledge to share. I was lucky enough to have a 1-on-1 course with him and he was patient with my endless questions and made sure I knew the material. He didn’t passively teach the curriculum and send me on my way. If you’re looking for a fully capable guide service, run by a legit climber and mountaineer, go for Valhalla.

We did one of Connor’s basic avalanche courses and it was a great experience! Connor was super knowledgeable and experienced, and had helpful insights for every question any of us asked. He gave us a very well rounded look into how to handle a variety of worst case scenarios but also taught how to avoid those situations. Looking forward to taking future courses with them and continue learning!
