We had an amazing time climbing with Carlos! He was very nice and very knowledgeable on the location, the routes, the gear and more. He worked with my 6 year old son and coached him as he climbed 60+ feet up the rock. Carlos also worked with my wife who has experience climbing and myself who rarely climbs. We all had a great time together. I would highly reccomend going with this company for your guided climbing experience. It was perfect!! Carlos even brought cold brew coffee for my wife and I, and juices for my son. Carlos is a super cool and good dude. We were in a beatiful location! We felt very safe and comfortable with Carlos. 5 stars all the way!

I highly recommend getting outside and climbing with Carlos! it was such a fun day, he’s an incredible Guide, and just an overall really warm and lovely person. Everyone I met at the Craig was welcoming, I couldn’t have enjoyed it more.Nuevo Bayamon is where we were and it was gorgeous. Carlos even brought coffee!

Carlos and Leo were professional, kind, and great to spend the day with. They accomodated a pretty large group, had gear for the few that didnt, managed the risks well, and accomodated a wide ranged of skill and experience levels within the group. Islandclimber's waiver system, reminders, directions, were all easy and helpful. I am an experienced climber, have been a guide, have used many guide services, and I don't hesitate to reccommending Island Climber.

Carlos and Leo are wonderful human beings, generous spirits whose love for the island and enthusiasm for Puerto Rico's amazing climbing are evident from start to finish. Leo guided my 16 yr old daughter, an avid outdoor climber, and me, a dabbler, for a full (hot) day in Monagas. We followed the shade to 4 different crags with fantastic views and varied rock features. The area was not at all crowded. Climbing was top notch, routes well protected, and the other climbers we encountered were friendly and welcoming. This was the surprising highlight of my trip to PR, as I initially planned a tropical getaway from Colorado without knowledge of the climbing available here. We will definitely come back to sample all the other climbing areas Leo told us about. I highly highly recommend a day (or more!) with Islandclimber.

Our experience with IslandClimber was fantastic! We are experienced indoor rock climbers who are a little out of practice and have only climbed outdoors on two previous occasions. Our guide, Gabriel, took us to a lovely line of limestone routes in Monagas, assessed our comfort and experience, and selected a variety of interesting routes with different grades and challenges. We had an excellent time; if you've never climbed limestone, this is an awesome opportunity as it's sturdier than sandstone but more porous than something like granite. This was an amazing experience, Gabriel was also an exceptional guide, and we highly recommend booking with IslandClimber and experiencing Monagas.

I highly recommend these guys! Carlos and Leo were fantastic guides; they were both extremely knowledgeable not only in climbing but about the area, as well. They place a high emphasis on safety, so I felt safe and comfortable through the whole experience. They were efficient with setting up climbs so we got plenty of climbing time during the 4 hours. Super friendly and encouraging too! Had a great time!
