The Caliche Crag is located near the center of the mountain range in Ciales, within a 1-hour drive west of San Juan. Caliche is a beautiful climbing area in a vast valley filled with limestone. This crag has been one of the island gems since the 1990s. This small sports area has over 40 sports lines between 5.7 and 5.13d.
The town is known for its excellent coffee (café Don Pello) and natural wonders, not to mention the climbing is within a short hike from the parking area, plus a fantastic view of the valley.
