Trip: Joshua Tree Rock Climbing - Half Day (AM)

We had a perfect morning! Our guide, Mason, was very knowledgeable and took care of all of the rock climbing setup. We didn’t know what to expect for our 4 and 6 year old, but he was great with them and they were able to get to the top of four different climbs. Watching them build their confidence was so much fun to watch. Our 4 year started off scared, but after seeing his sister said “I want to go”. We were all first time climbers and we definitely want to climb again! Thanks Mason!!!

Trip: Joshua Tree Rock Climbing - Half Day (AM)

We had an amazing half day climbing with Jay. He was communicative leading up to our trip, told us exactly where we could meet him and was there waiting for us when we arrived. We are both newer to climbing (right around 40yo and very active), and he found the perfect climbs for us to warm up, and be challenged. The best part for me was that Jay knew exactly when to push us a little harder and not let us give up when we couldn’t see the next steps. I would absolutely recommend climbing with Mojave Guides, and Jay.

We had an amazing rock climbing experience. My husband and I were new to rock climbing and we’re looking for some basics to build off from. Heather picked a beautiful area for us to climb. She really tailored our lesson to what we wanted to do. I was very impressed with what my husband and I were able to accomplish in one day. It was epic!

Luis was a fantastic guide! Very professional, very knowledgeable . I think he would be a perfect guide for all fitness levels. We had a great hike and scramble , in the western part of the park, and on the difficult transitions he always gave us options ahead of time and insight! Will definitely ask for Luis again!

We had an absolute blast with Muphy! We learned a ton and laughed the whole time. He was very patient with us and gave very helpful advice to make sure we could get to the top of each wall. I cannot recommend Murphy as a guide enough. He was a joy to be around!

We had the most amazing experience with Murphy! Having never climbed before and being slightly scared of heights, I was a bit nervous going into this excursion, but Murphy was great at teaching the “ropes”, making me feel comfortable, and making the experience so much fun. Murphy tailored our hike/climbs to our interests and abilities. We got to complete 4 climbs that I never imagined I could do. Murphy is very knowledgeable about climbing but also of Joshua Tree as a whole. I highly recommend for new and experienced climbers.
