This accreditation ensures that we are upholding the highest of industry standards, including rigorous and uniform guide training, compliance with state and federal law, and that we promote ethical business practices. Andrew our guide was INCREDIBLE. Equal parts encouraging, funny and knowledgeable about climbing. The guy just loves rocks. My wife and I had no experience whatsoever and found this trip to be so fulfilling and catered to our skill level and eagerness to learn. I was skeptical at first because we’ve never climbed before, but would give this a 10/10 would boom again.

Murf was exceptional. In fact I am thinking of going to Maine this summer because I enjoyed time with him in Joshua Tree so much and I want to continue working with him in summer. It’s been 3 weeks since my trip to Joshua Tree and time with Murf on the rocks still physically mesmerizes me.

It went super well. Murphy was very supportive and encouraging. As a beginner he urged me to climb at my own pace and be patient. He is also lighthearted and upbeat. A wonderful time.

I booked a half day rock climbing trip in Joshua Tree with Mojave Guides as a surprise birthday gift for my husband, and it was the best decision ever!!! Everything about Mojave Guides was great--from the booking process, to the many confirmation and reminder emails/texts, and also getting a text check in from our guide Mason the night before, the service from Mojave Guides was excellent!! During our climbing trip, Mason was great at gauging our climbing ability and selecting 4 routes for us that were increasingly difficult (but fun)!! He belayed all our routes and did a great job making sure we had the right knots and that we were safe and secure before every climb. He was also very friendly, very knowledgeable and professional, and gave us many great ideas on where to climb in Joshua Tree in the future. I'm so glad I found Mojave Guides online, and my husband and I had the best time!!! Mason was an excellent guide!! Highly recommend and definitely will be booking with them again!!!

We had a blast! Murph was very knowledgeable, encouraging, and fun. Despite our total lack of outdoor climbing experience and our fear of heights, he totally put us at ease. We were even able to complete 3 routes each! The 4 hours flew by! This will definitely be a highlight of our trip to JT. Highly recommend.
