This accreditation ensures that we are upholding the highest of industry standards, including rigorous and uniform guide training, compliance with state and federal law, and that we promote ethical business practices. We had the best day with Taylor!! We are already planning our next climbing adventure with him! He was so patient & encouraging, and had great tips throughout the day so we could keep moving up the rock face. It was really thrilling to climb outdoors & take in the incredible views. The duration of each climb was manageable & fun, and our 5 and 9 year-old sons really enjoyed it too.

Fantastic trip! Murphy was an excellent guide and also made the trip fun for our whole group. Murphy took time to take us on a longer route that worked for us really well and we appreciate his great knowledge and effort he put in. I’d highly recommend and hope to go again!

Murph was an awesome guide! He asked for my input on what my goal for the day was and he made a plan. As a newbie I learned the knots and the safety fundamentals. I learned techniques for top rope wall and crack climbing. He also taught me to belay and flake rope. My last climb was a 5.6 crack route and I completed it! Murph also gave interesting background stories on climbing in Joshua Tree and made you feel like you were climbing with a friend. I’m definitely going to use Mojave again.

Murphy was a phenomenal guide. He explained all the systems in depth and was incredibly knowledgeable. His emphasis on safety was a highlight and he addressed all of our hesitations through an emphatic and educational approach, as we are somewhat new to sport/trad. He was great company and the time went by too quick! 10/10 would hire Mojave and Murphy again.
