Started in 2014 by Tim and Michelle Borland and their three kids, the Bar SZ Ranch is a true family business with a mission to help others “forge their legacy.” Set on 2200-acres in its own valley with iconic California oak trees and golden hills; views of the surrounding mountains and Pinnacles National Park; and painted, sunlit skies, this working ranch offers a unique, destination experience with grit.

Our kids braved the warm weather & this was Mason's favorite part of our trip! He loved riding Nemo and trotting around the arena. Thanks for being flexible and moving our ride time later in the day to accommodate the unexpected heat wave during our trip. We loved being on your property and Mason is already asking when we get to come back again to visit all the animals on the farm.

We had the most amazing time - kids and adults alike! It was super hot during out trip to the ranch - but Tim and Colton were kind enough to set up the range partially in the shade to keep us comfortable. Thanks for being such friendly hosts and allowing us to enjoy your property.

The Arena Ride was my daughter’s favorite experience at Bar SZ Ranch! She had so much fun with her horse and wants to go back! The guides were fantastic and kept all the kids comfortable and safe while riding. Thank you Bar SZ Ranch!
