Trip: A Glorious Day on Granite Mountain
Guide: Brad B.
I had a great day at Granite Mountain with Brad. We climbed Dislocation Direct in 3 pitches. This was my first multipitch climb, and it went just about as well it could have. It was so fun. Learning about multipitch trad & working on crack climbing were my personal goals for the day, and I definitely met my goals! Brad was knowledgeable, flexible, and professional, which is exactly what you're looking for in a guide. As a result, I felt confident the whole time and was able to successfully test out skills that were newer to me. It all came together very well. A bonus was that almost nobody else was there, at least that day. The solitude and the views were unbeatable. I would say I really got what I was looking for out of my trip. I came away with a better understanding of multipitch trad, which helps inform where climbing takes me in the future. Things could only have been better if there had been more hours in the day, but of course that isn't possible. I live in Massachusetts and am not often in Arizona, but next time I am, I will definitely book again. Thanks, Brad, for helping me on my journey to becoming a more knowledgeable and skilled climber.

It was really good program out on by the guides. I certainly learned a lot of useful new techniques for belayed repels and anchor build. The event also served as a good idea as for how an event should be run and organized in general. Overall 11/10 would 100% attend again.

Trip: Tucson | Introduction to Lead Climbing - Private
Guide: Brad B.
The lead climbing course was amazing! Brad did a great job of finding a fun crag and teaching me the fundamentals. Before this class, fear frequently kept me from actually finishing routes while leading. I feel much more comfortable now!

Fantastic experience! Brad was friendly, encouraging and extremely knowledgeable. Climbed at least 10 different routes of various difficulties and types in multiple locations around the Dells, including an intro to crack climbing. Never felt rushed and had time to review some anchor building info I had forgotten and learned some new stuff about placing cams and nuts. Location was picturesque. Couldn’t have asked for a better day!
