Mike Riley
About me
Mike has been exploring Arizona climbing crags since he moved to Prescott in 2007. He’s dedicated to helping people move confidently and safely through vertical terrain. With years of experience guiding on rock, ice, and alpine routes, Mike specializes in creating supportive, skill-focused days that meet climbers where they are—whether it’s their first time on real rock or they’re working towards a long-term goal. Mike’s approach blends clear instruction, a tailored progression that enables clients to meet their goals, and a deep love for climbing in Arizona. Mike’s goal is to help you grow as a climber while having a meaningful, memorable day outside. When not guiding, Mike is a professor of Adventure Education at Prescott College. Mike is an AMGA certified Single Pitch Instructor, Assistant Rock Guide, and an Apprentice Alpine Guide.Certifications
