We did the Backcountry Essentials course with these guys and it was awesome! We're new to touring and this course was exactly what we were looking for. All the basics to feel confident and safe getting out on our own. Erik our guide/instructor was awesome teaching, pushing us, and tailoring the 2 days to our interests and abilities.

Winslow was absolutely wonderful in every way! I learned so much from her throughout the day and am very grateful for her patience and thoughtfulness - even bringing me delicious homemade vegan soup and ginger tea to enjoy in the backcountry. No doubt in mind that this was the first of many tours I hope to do with Winslow. I have a new appreciation for the beauty of the Wasatch and am a better skier and outdoorswoman for having spent the day with Winslow! Would unequivocally recommend her to friends and family.

Todd was amazing. He managed our group perfectly even through we had a 1st time BC participant along with others that have been doing it for 20+ years. The terrain he took us on was perfect for our skill level and the Avy conditions on Sunday and he kept things at a pace that we all could handle (even the 50+ year-old guys). Between having Todd as our guide and the conditions mother nature afforded us, it was the best overall day of skiing/riding that I've had in the 40+ years I've been skiing and boarding. I highly recommend Wasatch Mountain Guides and Todd specifically.
